Enter your birth details to see whether Mars falls in a Manglik house, counted from your Lagna and from your Moon, as kundli matching counts it. No birth time? The check from your Moon still works. Free, no signup.

Manglik, or Mangal dosha, is Mars in the 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house. The houses are counted twice, from the Lagna and from the Moon sign, and a chart is Manglik when either count finds it: partial (anshik) when one does, full when both do. It is common. By this count about two charts in three are Manglik one way or both, and about one in six both ways.
Schools differ: some add the 2nd house, some count from Venus as well, and some list exceptions. This calculator counts the 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th and 12th from the Lagna and the Moon and applies no exceptions.
Matching sets each partner's Manglik against the other's. When both are Manglik, the dosha cancels. South Indian practice also counts Mars in the 2nd house, so a partner with Mars there balances a Manglik too. When only one partner is Manglik, it is counted as a Mangal dosha mismatch, one point to weigh with the rest of the 36-point match.
The count from the Moon needs only the birth date: the Moon changes sign about every two and a quarter days, so most days give one answer, and on a day it changes the calculator shows each part. The count from the Lagna needs the birth time, since the Lagna changes about every two hours.
Enter your birth details above. You are Manglik when Mars is in the 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house counted from your Lagna or from your Moon sign; the result shows both counts.
It is a marker kundli matching looks at, not a verdict on a marriage. About two charts in three are Manglik one way or both, and when both partners are, the dosha cancels.
Manglik by one count only, from the Lagna or from the Moon. Found both ways it is full Manglik. About half of all charts are partial Manglik, and about one in six full.
A popular belief holds that it weakens after 28, when Mars is said to mature. The count itself doesn't change with age: Mars's house in your birth chart stays where it is, and that is what this calculator reports.
Yes, and many do. Matching counts it as a mismatch to weigh with the rest of the match, and in South Indian practice a partner whose Mars is in the 2nd house balances it.
From your Moon sign, yes: the Moon changes sign about every two and a quarter days, so the date usually settles it. The count from your Lagna needs the birth time.
